Reminders!

Vacation Leave: Please be sure to use your vacation time before your anniversary date. Employees are permitted to accumulate a maximum of 280 hours of vacation leave, in accordance to RCW 43.01.040. To view your anniversary date, go to the Employee Summary Tab in the Employee Dashboard section of Web4U

Community Service Day:  Don't forget to use your community service day this year!  Employees receive 8 hours of pay. Leave is pro-rated for PT employees based on their appointment percentage. This leave can be taken in half day increments.  Employee must have worked 4 months prior to be eligible for these leave days. Please refer to your Classified Unions agreement  or the Professional Staff (PSO) handbook for more info.

PA's: All PAs, including those with corrections, must be sent to HR.Forms@wwu.edu rather than directly to a member of the HRIS team's inbox. Sending them to a team member's personal inbox risks them being overlooked if that person is out of the office.

Fall Planning! New Hire Paperwork

Supervisors! If you hire new students for Fall quarter, please have them visit HR to complete their New Hire paperwork before they leave for the summer! No appointment is needed. All new employees must complete a form I-9 prior to their start date.

    • We have updated our NTT hiring process. You no longer need to request a pool copy to extend an offer. Instead, you can now directly access your pool, move the candidate to the "Request to Offer" status, and complete the necessary form for approval routing.
